Cold water,
done properly.

What it takes to run ice baths in a commercial facility, and what we do so you get it right the first time.

The short version

Anyone can sell you an ice bath.

Very few can build you a system.

Cold water has become part of how a modern facility competes. Members expect it, franchises are designing it in, and a good recovery zone earns its floor space every single day.

The hard part is what happens after opening week. A tub full of cold water is easy. Keeping that water cold, clear and safe while dozens of warm bodies move through it every day is a different job entirely. It is the difference between an appliance and a system, and it is decided before the first slab is poured.

We see the same story all the time. A recovery room opens on consumer gear. Within weeks the chiller cannot hold temperature on busy days, the water is cloudy by afternoon, and a staff member is on filter duty between classes. The gear was never built for the load.

The recovery room at The Reset Sanctuary
A real one

The Reset Sanctuary, Sunshine Coast

Opened with self contained tubs and chillers. Four breakdowns in the first four weeks, staff changing filters multiple times a day, and water that was never as clear as it should be. They rebuilt the room as one Bergs system. The difference was not a better tub. It was everything behind it. This page is about the behind.

The reframe

You are not buying an ice bath.
You are building a small commercial pool.

That one sentence changes every decision that follows. A commercial pool is three parts working as one loop, each matched to your bather load, your space and your climate. We design and supply all three.

And it scales. Several tubs run off one chiller and one filtration plant. A single plant room runs the whole cold water zone, and the same design repeats cleanly across every site you open.
The standard

What done properly actually means.

Five things we consider non negotiable in a commercial cold water space. Every system we design is built to hit all five.

01

Water that stands up to scrutiny

Continuous monitoring, automated dosing and data logging, designed to help you meet Australian water quality requirements. If someone asks to see the numbers, you have them.

02

Cold that holds in summer

Rated for Australian conditions and sized with headroom, so the water is still at temperature on the hottest, busiest day of the year, not just at commissioning.

03

Quiet where your members are

Our patented split system puts the hot, noisy components outside. The indoor unit sits silently in the plant room, not in the middle of your recovery space.

04

One system runs the whole zone

Pods, plunges and pools share a single chiller and filtration plant. Fewer machines, fewer failure points, one plant room, and a design you can repeat site after site.

05

Built to run without babysitting

The system doses, corrects and logs itself through peak load, and alerts you remotely if anything needs attention. Your staff run sessions, not filters.

The engine room.

The chiller keeps the water cold. The filtration keeps it safe and clear. Both are specified to your bather load, and both are our own scope, end to end.

02The chiller Pulls the heat out and holds your set temperature
The Adonis split system chiller
17.42 kW · Heavy daily traffic

The Adonis Split System

Our patented split system for larger volumes and multi tub sites. Holds temperature when the room is busy and the day is hot.

The Classic split system chiller
6.5 kW · Single compressor

The Classic Split System

The workhorse for smaller rooms and lighter loads. The same split system design in a smaller engine.

03The filtration Keeps the water clean, clear and safe to share
Ultra fine media filtrationCaptures particles down to the micron range for genuinely clear water.
Layered sanitationA mineral chlorine generator holds the baseline, automated dosing corrects at peak load, and UV based oxidation breaks down organics and odour.
CO2 pH controlPrecise control with no hazardous acid stored on site.
Touchscreen controllerContinuous monitoring, data logging and remote alerts, plus automatic water top up.
Put simply. Crystal clear water around the clock, safe for your members, with minimal hands on maintenance.

2
We design the system
Tubs, chiller size and filtration matched to your bather load, plus the plant room layout. Allow roughly 2 m by 2 m for plant, close to the baths.
3
You get the full walkthrough
Layout, power, water and drainage requirements, and a formal quote. Before you spend a dollar, you know exactly what your room needs.
4
Order and build
All pools arrive in a self supporting frame.
5
Install
Our specialist installers connect all of the pieces and make sure the chiller, filtration and circuit are working perfectly.
6
Commission and handover
We balance the water, set up the controller and show your team how to run it. Then we stay available for support.
Who we are for

Commercial facilities that want the room done once and done right. Gyms, studios, clubs, hotels and franchises building cold water their members will use every day for years.

Who we are not for

Home setups, and builds where the lowest quote is the only measure. We are rarely the cheapest. We are the one still holding temperature in February.
